This application is an extension of Prince Edward County’s Geographic Information System (GIS) which allows the user to create and print their own maps. GIS is a tool that allows data from multiple sources to be compared and analyzed in a geographic approach.

The data sources are produced using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and are maintained by different sources. These map sources are produced by the County of Prince Edward with data supplied under license from the Ontario Geospatial Data Exchange (OGDE). Copyright 2010. Queen’s Printer for Ontario. They are also produced with data supplied by the Government of Canada, under the GeoBase license.

Directions:
There are four entry points to Prince Edward County, all of them leading to Picton, the main town in the county.
Highway 33 West is accessed from 401 by Wooler Road at Exit 522, just west of Trenton.
Highway 62 is accessible from 401 at Exit 543, Belleville.
Another entry is Highway 49 at Exit 566 at Marysville.
Travellers from Kingston can access Prince Edward County by way of Glenora Ferry on Highway 33 East.

Highway 401 Exits to Prince Edward County
Exit 522 -- Wooler Road South
Exit 525 -- Hwy 33 Trenton
Exit 538, 543 & 544 -- Belleville South to Hwy 62
Exit 566 -- Marysville South on Hwy 49
Glenora Ferry
Departs Glenora on the hour and half hour
Departs Adolphustown at 1/4 to and 1/4 after hour
Attention: The weight limit remains at 18 metric tonnes (20 short tons or 40,000 lbs)
Summer: (Mid May to September)
30 MINUTE SERVICE DAILY from 6am-10am & 7:30pm-1:45am
15 MINUTE SERVICE from 10:15am-7:30pm
Winter:
30 MINUTE SERVICE 6:00 a.m.-1:45 a.m.
