Mayor’s Message

On behalf of our staff and members of Council, I wish to extend a warm welcome to our website, and to the beautiful County of Prince Edward.

Prince Edward County has much to offer its visitors and residents from world-class restaurants, artist studios and galleries, wineries and distillery, B&B's and cottages, farmgate markets and the beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park.

Our heritage buildings and homes, and our Loyalist history, figure prominently in our dedication to preserving our past and protecting our future quality of place.

Strategically located in the centre of the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal golden triangle, the County is an ideal place to locate or start a business.  As one of the leaders in the "Creative Rural Economy", Prince Edward County is attracting and becoming the home to young professionals and entrepreneurs in light industry, health care, green energy, television production and the emerging information technology cluster.
